Our website guarantees that you will pay the lowest possible price for your stay. Also, all payments are automatically done and secured by the National Bank of Greece.

The Check In time is 3 pm and the Check Out time is 10 am. Late checkouts are subject to availability (local rates apply - please ask at Reception for further details).

According to Government Regulations room cleaning and linen changing are an opt-in procedure by contacting reception.

You can choose between a double bed and twin beds. When booking directly on our website, you will be asked to make your choice.

A credit card guarantee is required to secure a reservation. There are two payment policies with different rates: the Prepaid and the Standard. The Prepaid Policy offers better rates, but the total reservation amount has to be paid at the time of the booking and is non-refundable. The Standard Policy requires a 10% non-refundable deposit. The reservation can be cancelled or modified up to 31 days prior to the date of arrival with no extra fees. The hotel will charge the credit card for the remaining reservation amount 30 days prior to the date of arrivals. This charge is
non-refundable.

When booking on our website, you should check your credit card expiration date! In case your card expires before the day of the payment (which could be 30 days before check-in - depends on the policy), we will contact and send you a payment request when it's about time for your vacations!

All payments are made in euros. Any other currency is exchanged based to the rate at the time of payment. For this reason, the Prepaid Policy could be a safe option for a client not paying with euros. With the Standard Policy the total reservation amount in the client’s currency is defined 30 days before check-in.

There are many airlines that fly into Kefalonia International Airport. You can also get domestic flights from Mainland Greece and arrive via Athens. There is also more than one ferry service every day from both Poros (10 minute drive to Skala) and Sami (40 minute drive to Skala).

The Melidron can exclusively offer an Airport return service for up to 4 passengers for 120 Euros (please request for a price for more than 4 passengers). You will be greeted privately at the airport and brought directly to the Melidron hotel. You can also choose your collection time for the return journey and we shall organise this for you. Please make us aware if you would like to book this service and the full cost is payable to the driver on arrival.

The hotel is set in an idyllic location less than 100 metres aware from the beach. The hotel boasts both sea views and mountain views providing guests with the best of both worlds. We are incredibly lucky that we are only a 10 minute stroll into the main street in Skala where there are an abundance of shops and taverns but luckily it still maintains the feeling of a pleasant local Greek village.

There is a supermarket nearby, just a 3 minute walk from the hotel.

Kefalonia has a great history and for this reason there are many attractions that travelers can admire. Fiskardo, Melissani lake, Myrtos beach, Assos, Agia Efimia, Drogarati cave, Ainos, Argostoli, Poros and Katelios are the top rated places one could visit. It's an island suitable for everyone, whatever your preferences are. In Argostoli, Lixouri, Skala and Fiskardo you will find bars and clubs. And for those who want something more relaxed, Kefalonia has many restaurants as well as areas that will give you peace of mind.
